In addition, residents may still take trash and other debris to the Camelot Landfill for disposal with proof of residency, usually a driver's license or recent utility bill, at no charge. Personal businesses will be assessed a tipping fee and other applicable charges to dispose of trash or debris.
The Camelot Landfill is open 7 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturdays. It is located at 580 Huffines Boulevard in Lewisville. To get there, take I-35 north to Highway 121 Business (exit 450). Go east on Highway 121 for about three miles, and then right on Huffines.
Hazardous household chemicals and waste must be taken to the Dallas County Home Chemical Collection Center at: 11234 Plano Road Dallas, TX 75243
The facility will require a state-issued ID, driver's license or recent utility bill with your name and address as proof that you are a Farmers Branch resident.
