Hiatus Day Spa • Med Spa celebrated the opening of its new Addison location Monday with a ribbon cutting hosted by the Metrocrest Area Chamber of Commerce.
The spa, located at 5310 Belt Line Road in Town Hall Square, opened Sept. 5. It is the latest North Texas location for the Texas-based company, which operates day spas and med spas throughout the state.
Metrocrest Chamber members, Addison representatives and Hiatus employees gathered Sept. 28 for the ribbon cutting and a tour of the new space. Mel Gutierrez, an HCM consultant with Dominion Payroll, led the chamber festivities.
Addison Mayor Bruce Arfsten and Addison City Council member Schnell Blanton were among those welcoming the business to the community.
The Addison spa offers massage, facial, nail and body treatments along with med spa services. Services are available to the public without a membership.
Hiatus also offers its H-Circle membership for $99 per month. The membership includes one essential service each month and provides member pricing on additional services and other benefits.
The company is also expanding its corporate presence in Addison. Hiatus plans to open its headquarters this fall near Hooky Entertainment.
Hiatus currently operates locations throughout North Texas and will open two new locations in San Antonio and Houston in October, said Callie Massey, district manager.
The Addison spa is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday. Visit the spa's website to learn more.
