CORRECTION POLICY

Our goal and intent is to always be as factual and objective in our news coverage. However, our reporters and editors are human and sometimes make mistakes. When we learn about a factual error, we will change it as quickly as we can digitally with an editor's note so readers know a story has been corrected. We will not change quotations that give a person's perspective unless that quotation introduces incorrect information. In that case, a quotation will be removed rather than changed.
