Hò-rò! That’s Gaelic for “HOORAY!” And there is plenty to hooray about because our annual Westie Walk is happening Saturday, October 24, from 2–4 pm CT!
Join us for our beloved memorial walk, resplendent this year with a genuine Scottish piper, because apparently a bunch of Westies wandering around in circles wasn’t Scottish enough. We’ll also have a heap of games and activities guaranteed to leave your Westie simultaneously overstimulated, overexcited, and absolutely convinced this is the greatest day of his/her life.
We’re talking:
Westie Bowling – because knocking things over is already a core Westie skill.
Musical Westies – musical chairs, but with more barking and considerably less cooperation.
Halloween Costume Contest – unleash your inner creative genius. Or just put a witch hat on your dog and call it a day.
Bobbing for Biscuits – because we’ve decided dogs should have hobbies.
Pup-Cup Eating Contest – an event in which Westies will demonstrate absolutely no dignity whatsoever.
And, of course, we’ll have plenty of time for Mom and/or Dad to socialize, make new friends, and meet other Westie-obsessed people from around the Metroplex—people who will not judge you for having 47 photos of your dog on your phone. They’ll probably show you 48 of theirs.
So grab your Westie, your tartan, your appetite for fun, and possibly a towel for the inevitable pup-cup disaster.
MARK YOUR CALENDARS!
