Friends, family and neighbors came together for a day filled with fun, food and free resources at the annual Metrocrest Services Community Picnic on Saturday, Sept. 27.
Hundreds of residents stopped by to enjoy free hotdogs served by Carrollton-Farmers Branch Rotary, Kona Ice, cotton candy and more; visiting, dancing and enjoying a petting zoo, inflatable bounce houses, face painting and a balloon artist.
A trackless train circled the Metrocrest Services building at 1145 N. Josey Lane in Carrollton, while Spiderman and Batman visited with children and adults alike.
More than 20 local businesses and non-profit agencies provided resources and information.
