They are in line to receive essential groceries, which allows families to stretch their budgets further. In September, 57 volunteers from 10 different organizations served 1,845 people.
i58 Ministry serves food to more than 425 families in need at 3108 Valley View Lane in Farmers Branch. Food is sourced from the North Texas Food Bank, along with generous donations from retail partners, including Walmart, Trader Joe’s, Albertsons, Tom Thumb and Aldi.
Each family receives a variety of items, such as:
i58 Ministry also makes birthdays special for children. Each month, we distribute between 50–75 “birthday bags,”which include cake mix, a can of icing, foil cake pan and birthday candles.
Additionally, we provide diapers for over 300 babies and adult incontinence products for approximately 50 adults.
i58 Ministry is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to serving people in need in our community.
If you or anyone at your company is interested in donating time, funds or products, we would be thrilled to connect with you. Opportunities include hosting a canned food drive, diaper drive or birthday bag drive.
