Kickoff planned for new Lifelong Learning program

Posted

Dallas College's new Lifelong Learning Program, which replaced the college's Emeritus Program, will kick off 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday, March 21 at Dallas College Brookhaven's Building H, Room 126.

The program is designed to promote lifelong learning for people 55 and older in the community through a range of credit and continuing education  classes, including noncredit academic and personal enrichment classes.

Adults who are 65 or older and Dallas County residents can enroll in any of Dallas College’s 11,000 credit classes at no charge by using a senior tuition waiver. Senior adults may participate in paid continuing education classes.

A tuition waiver covers up to six credit hours per semester for credit classes only for students who are not degree-seeking students.
