Dallas Stars hit the ice in Farmers Branch

The Dallas Stars brought NHL hockey up close to local fans during an Oct. 26 practice at Children's Health StarCenter in Farmers Branch. Spectators filled the bleachers to watch players run drills and prepare for upcoming games, giving hockey enthusiasts a chance to see the professional team in action without leaving their community.

Local homeschool student Vance Hooper-Christensen attended the practice and captured photos of the players and fans.
