PoolWerx Carrollton is showcasing the Branch Herald's technological abilities with a new video in the news organization's business directory.

Businesses and restaurants have kept the organization's staff busy adding to both the business and restaurant guides, providing a resource for local residents, businesses and visitors.

Business owners can email the Branch Herald to have their company's information added to the directories. The Herald offers free, upgraded and premium listings. Premium listings come with photos, a video and a map to the business. Branch Herald staff have been adding many of Farmers Branch's hidden gems to the directories.

In addition, the Branch Herald is offering and moderating a candidate forum at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 27, at the Children's Health StarCenter, 12700 North Stemmons Fwy. Publisher Kate Bergeron will moderate, asking candidates in the Farmers Branch City Council Districts 1 and 4 races and the Carrollton-Farmers Branch Independent School District questions pertaining to those offices. The public is welcome to attend.

The candidate forum will be livestreamed on Facebook. The video will be made available after the forum on the Branch Herald's YouTube channel.
