Addison police identify 21-year-old man found dead near Vitruvian Way

On April 13, 2026, at approximately 4:45 a.m., the Addison Police Department, in coordination with the Addison Fire Department, responded to a report of an unresponsive individual in the 3900 block of Vitruvian Way.

Upon arrival, first responders confirmed the individual was deceased. Prior to identification, police described him as a younger adult white male of average height with a lean build and brown hair. He was wearing a gray t-shirt, blue athletic pants, and white socks, and had a gold necklace and a pink band on his left wrist. 

Addison Police announced on April 14, 2026, that the decedent had been identified as a 21-year-old male from Addison. They did not release his name.

A thorough preliminary investigation indicates no criminal activity associated with this death, and there is no threat to the public. The incident remains under investigation by the Addison Police Department in conjunction with the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office. The official cause and manner of death have not yet been determined.

"We are working diligently to identify this individual so that we can notify his family and provide them with the answers they deserve about what happened to their loved one. Our thoughts are with his family during this difficult and uncertain time," said the original Facebook post asking the public for help identifying the man.
