Dallas College will host the 2025 World Championship event for the Task Force Tips Firefighter Challenge Championship Series at Brookhaven Campus. This nternational firefighter competition featuring elite athletes from more than 20 countries.
This American Ninja Warrior-style course highlights the strength and readiness of our first responder community, showcasing their skills in a dynamic and engaging way. Labeled by ESPN as “the toughest two minutes in sports,” this free family-friendly event brings elite firefighting talent from around the world to the heart of our community. Come cheer on competitors, enjoy live Dallas College entertainment and explore hands-on learning.
Residents and visitors are invited to enjoy interactive booths, offering hands-on experiences and information about the college’s academic and career pathways. Admission is free for spectators.
Fire Protection Technology students will run the challenge course from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19. This hands-on experience will count toward students' agility training credit, offering a unique opportunity to apply classroom learning in a real-world setting. The Opening Ceremony at 8 a.m., Friday, Oct. 24, will feature a choir, the Farmers Branch Fire Department and several Dallas College program representatives including Nursing, Fire Protection Technology, Engineering, Paralegal Studies, EMS and Health Sciences.
