Pickleball Boulevard is being resurrected.
The fan-centric festival at the heart of the 2024 Lapiplasty Pickleball World Championships is returning Nov. 3-10 with nightly music headliners, upgraded food and beverage experiences, fan-friendly activities and pickleball clinics and mixers at Brookhaven Country Club.
Country music performers Justin Moore, Payton Smith, Sadie Bass, Tigerlily Gold, Mackenzie Carpenter and Morgan Evans are scheduled to perform during the championships.
A grounds pass will provide access to each day’s concerts and cost $25 per day. Farmers Branch residents receive a 25-percent discount.
New for this year, local eatery Eataly is the official caterer of the VIP culinary experience, which comes with the VIP ticket. In addition, Eataly will have an 800-square-foot café on Pickleball Boulevard.
Pickleball Boulevard also will offer food trucks, including Cane Rosso Pizza, Lettuce Turnip the Beet Backyard BBQ, Tacos La Gloria, Cousins Maine Lobster and Mister Softee.
Deep Eddy Vodka will return, not only as the title sponsor of the Celebrity Pickleball Showdown, but with pickleball-themed cocktails such as the “Groundstroke Gimlet” and the “Erne Palmer.”
There will also be a “Texas Tour of Beer” 3-6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, which is new this year. Fans with a grounds pass will be able to sample beers from nearly a dozen breweries.
Pickleball clinics and mixers will provide entertainment and instruction for fans. Highlights include XGLOsive Glow-in-the-Dark Pickleball, PPA Joola Pro Camps led by PPA Tour professionals, Coffee Meets Bagel Speed Dating Pickleball, a cowboy-themed Rowdy Round Robin and a wooden paddle tournament.
