Local contractor earns sixth Best of Houzz Award

Fin Home Custom Contracting, a Farmers Branch-based custom home builder and high-end remodeler, has earned its sixth Best of Houzz award, the latest recognition coming in February 2026. The repeated honor places the company among a small group of building professionals on the Houzz platform recognized year after year for the quality of their work and the satisfaction of their clients.

Best of Houzz awards are given annually to home professionals based on factors that include design quality and homeowner reviews from the Houzz community of millions of users. Earning the recognition six times reflects a consistent standard of craftsmanship and service rather than a single standout year.

Fin Home is headquartered in Farmers Branch and works as a Dallas custom home builder serving families across the wider DFW metro. Recent work includes a whole-home remodel in Keller that the company documented alongside a video interview with the homeowner. Fin Home also works in partnership with Bohannon Design, pairing construction expertise with professional design on its custom builds and remodels.

"Earning Best of Houzz six times means a lot to us because it reflects genuine customer satisfaction," said Erik Finholm, owner of Fin Home Custom Contracting. "We're proud to be a Farmers Branch business serving families throughout the Dallas area, and we're grateful every time a homeowner trusts us with something as personal as their home."
