Fun fire prevention engages residents

Posted

Residents flocked to the Farmers Branch Fire Department's Open House & Safety Fair on Saturday, Sept. 27, at Fire Station 3.

In addition to learning about fire prevention and fire safety, residents and their children learned about CPR, tourniquets as well as other aspects of health and safety and watched the Fire Brigade perform. Fire fighters also demonstrated vehicle extraction and rope rescue.

Other city departments also got involved, including Animal Services, which brought adoptable pets, Community Services and Emergency Management.
