Final unofficial results are in from Dallas County for Farmers Branch election and from Dallas and Denton counties for Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD.
The unofficial results have David Reid being elected for Farmers Branch City Council, District 3, and Roger Neal being elected for Farmers Branch City Council, District 5.
A majority of the propositions for the City of Farmers Branch were also passed, with the exception of Special Election Proposition D, which would have allowed the city to enforce imminent domain, which allows municipalities to acquire property from property owners and paying them fair market value. This was to have been a change in the charter language rather than a change of policy.
City council will attend a special session at 5 p.m., Tuesday, May 14 in the council chamber at city hall to declare the election results officially.
The unofficial results from both counties also have Cassandra Hatfield and Marjorie Barnes being elected for Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD Board of Trustees.
