District announces summer meal service for all students

The Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD Student Nutrition Department, in partnership with the Texas Department of Agriculture, will be providing healthy, free summer meals for all children 18 and younger. Summer meals provide the nourishment children need to succeed when they return to school in the fall.

Meals will be available at the campuses on the dates and times listed below. No applications are needed. All sites will be open Monday through Thursday.

* The Child Development Academy will offer one Friday meal on May 29

Riverchase Elementary School

May 26, 2026 - July 23, 2026

• Breakfast: 7-8:30 a.m.
• Lunch: 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

• Breakfast: 7-9 a.m.
• Lunch: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
