Calling all car lovers and fanatics, here comes Jekyll and Hyde's, where bold designs meet impeccable craftsmanship.
Whether you are looking to stand out with a wild custom design or keep it sleek and professional, Jekyll and Hyde's brings your dream to life. Much like its namesake this shop transforms your vehicle to your dream car.
What drives a shop like Jekyll and Hyde’s to become THE name in custom car wrapping? It stems from a simple, yet universal desire—a passion for cars. Owner Omar Wasaya, who took over the business from its previous owners back in 2020, said, “I always wanted a garage. But who knew that I was going to end up with this big of a garage.”
His love for cars, combined with a team of who he calls "vehicle mavens" have helped the company grow from a modest shop to a well-known thriving establishment in the car customization world.
Jekyll and Hyde’s name comes from an 1866 novel titled Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, which is fitting as the story is about transformation from one person to another, exactly what Wasaya hopes to do for his clients.
They bring their original cars in, and he along with his team will transform the vehicle into exactly what their client wants.
It is obvious to anyone that gets the opportunity to talk to Wasaya that the passion he has not only for cars, but for creating, is not just a simple thing.
He dreams for the shop to continue to grow and create more unique designs. Along with his team, he is determined to achieve it no matter what.
When asked about the difficulty that might come with creating, designing and even wrapping the cars, Wasaya said, “As long as you have a professional who is opening the vehicle and putting it back together, it is pretty easy to get the job done."
Over the years, Wasaya has taken his dream of having his own garage and not only made it a reality but has also gotten to create numerous successful and memorable wraps, including eye-catching projects like a 24K Gold AMG and even a collaboration with the Dallas Mavericks in the form of the Luca 3.
Wasaya said, “Our display is our clientele. They go out there driving the vehicles, people asking them where they got it done? That being said, word of mouth is how we’re bringing in clientele."
Although the shop has yet to collaborate with local events due to increasing business, Wasaya hopes to become more involved in the future.
However, Wasaya has definitely created a name not only for his business but for himself as well for his dedication and creativity.
One notable collaboration was with the Dallas Mavericks, helping to create the Luca 3 which was based off the Jordan shoes player Luca Doncic had recently come out with. Wasaya said it was definitely one of his most notable cars but that each day has the opportunity to bring yet another new design.
As for the future, Wasaya's excitement lies in the customers of the business, driven by his passion to create.
"What excites me most about the future of my business is the customers," he says. "They drive me to do more and find different ways of giving them what they’re looking for."
In conclusion, Jekyll and Hyde’s offers more than just vehicle wraps; it offers a transformative experience for car enthusiasts.
So whether you're looking to refresh your car’s exterior or make a bold statement, Jekyll and Hyde’s expertise and passion for design are sure to deliver results that are bound to turn heads.
