The United Pickleball Association World Pickleball Championships are returning to Farmers Branch from Nov. 1 to Nov. 10 at Brookhaven Country Club. The city is holding an information meeting for all residents interested in learning more about the event at 6:30-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, at Brookhaven Country Club.
Residents will have an opportunity to learn about the tournament, sign up to volunteer and ask questions. Residents with questions are invited to submit them prior to the event by completing the form at https://forms.office.com/g/5djhzwnjd5.
Learn more about how the city will deal with parking issues, including a no parking ordinance, sign up to play in an amateur match, purchase your tickets with a 25-percent discount for residents using the code PICKLEBALL and sign up to volunteer.
Brookhaven Country Club is located at 3333 Golfing Green Drive in Farmers Branch. The meeting will take place in the main dining room. Refreshments will be served while supplies last.
