The Metrocrest Chamber Board of Directors endorsed eight of the 17 proposed constitutional amendments because they have a direct impact on business, workforce development, infrastructure and overall economic climate, which are key priorities in the chamber’s legislative agenda, according to an email the chamber sent out this week.
After careful review, the Metrocrest Chamber Government Affairs Committee, which includes members from small businesses, large corporations, education, government, and community organizations, recommended approving eight of the proposed constitutional amendments that directly impact the business community, the message said.

These recommendations were unanimously approved by the Metrocrest Chamber Board of Directors.
The chamber’s website specifically says that endorsement of these propositions does not mean the chamber opposes the remaining amendments.
