Volunteers from R.L. Turner High School as well as several food vendors collaborated on Nov. 8 to set up an extravagant event for Carnaval. The event was held in the school’s "pride lands," an area used to host many outdoor activities.
Activities ranged from bounce houses and mock carnaval games to delicious food and interesting performances from the school’s dance company. This was an event where many students, families and friends came together to celebrate Hispanic culture while also spending time with one another, sharing laughs and enjoying fun performances.
