Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) makes getting to the 2026 State Fair of Texas easier and more convenient than ever. This year, DART is operating special weekend bus shuttles called the "State Fair Flyer" on Saturdays, Sundays and October 12 helping Fair-goers bypass the traffic gridlock and drive straight into the fun.
A $6 DART day pass can get Fair-goers there and back for less than an Original Fletcher's Corny Dog. Round trip fare is just $6 for adults and $3 for students and children. Whether Fair-goers are there for the games, concerts, or fried food, DART makes getting there and back home safe, easy, and convenient.
WHERE: "State Fair Flyer" Shuttles will be provided from transit centers to transport passengers directly to Lot 8 at Fair Park.
Addison Transit Center
Glenn Heights Transit Center
Downtown Rowlett Station
Lake Ray Hubbard Transit Center, in Garland
WHEN: The "State Fair Flyer" Shuttles will leave the transit centers hourly beginning at 9:30am until 4:30 pm and begin departing Lot 8 at 12pm. The last shuttle will depart Fair Park Lot 8 at 8pm.
WHY: The return of the "State Fair Flyer" Shuttles give Fair-goers a direct, affordable alternative to driving and parking. DART aims to provide a convenient “one-seat ride” at several locations within the service area, rather than requiring passengers to transfer between multiple buses or trains. DART will have additional staff at each of these transit centers to assist riders with connections.
