Fire Chief David Jones announced this week that he will retire on March 26 after an outstanding 31-year career in the fire service, including 28 years serving the Town of Addison.
Throughout his time with Addison, Chief Jones has demonstrated exceptional leadership, integrity, and dedication to the community. His guidance and mentorship have shaped generations of firefighters and made a lasting impact on the department and the residents it serves.
The community is invited to celebrate his career at a retirement ceremony on Thursday, March 26, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Galaxy FBO, 15525 Addison Road. Parking may be limited, so guests are encouraged to park across the street at Town Hall.
The Town of Addison thanks Chief Jones for his remarkable service and wish him the very best in the years ahead.
